Greenville SC Wedding Videography
Your wedding comes and goes ….and it was perfect! You worked very hard to make this day memorable and you succeeded. You heart warms up every time you reflect back on your special day. You can still hear the wedding bells chiming and the laughter of your guests as if it was yesterday. However, as time goes by, you realize that memories fade. Now, you can remember the main things, but have forgotten the little things like who was there, decorations, or what your father said in his toast. Furthermore, you only saw the wedding from your point of view. You never saw your spouse getting ready or the flower girl walk down the aisle.
Today, couples solve this problem by hiring a professional wedding videographer. Videography is a craft. Just like Photography, it’s a form of art, but it’s one that few master. With only one chance to get your memories captured right, it is very important to choose your wedding videographer wisely. Whether you invest $1000 or $3000 into you video, a bad wedding video becomes nothing more than just a paperweight if it's not done right. A good wedding video will truly capture your wedding day in all of it's glory. You'll see your grandparents laughing, see your spouses initial reaction when they see you walk down the ailse, and all of the other fleeting moments and joyful interactiion that only video can capture.
In my experience, it seems that the video is what everyone tries to save money on, and is the last thing booked, but it's because the art is so new. With so many bad videos out there, it makes it harder to spread awareness, but wedding videos can be timeless. I would suggest if you're considering video, to meet with a couple of good videographers and just look at a few full wedding samples just for kicks. I've met countless brides that have said they wishes they had a wedding film made, and at least this way you'll know for sure if it's something you'll want or not.
Granted weddings are expensive, and you have to try to cut costs wherever possible, but I encourage you to not cut the videography budget. Or if nothing else, at least have your ceremony professionaly documented. 20 years from now, your video will undoubtedly be a priceless family treasure of yours. These moments will only happen once.
